Most of us begin and end our days in bed. We spend more time in bed than we spend anywhere else on the planet. And, until you have your own place, your bed is the center of the space you call your own -- your room. Since your bed is the place you spend the most time in your physical universe, it pays to take care of it.
Your brain pays attention, too. A clean bed shows yourself that you're organized. It shows you that you value a place to rest peacefully. It helps set the tone for your day. And, it gives you a comfortable place to relax at night. And, if you have a friend over to study, watch TV, or whatever, it is far less embarrassing to have your bed already made than try to explain it away. Develop the habit of taking 30 seconds to organize your bed. It will pay off.
